Benefits Administrator - Full time
XeniumHR is seeking a full time, Benefits Administrator to work in our Tualatin headquarters.
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for day-to-day administration of ASO and PEO Benefit programs in accordance with ERISA guidelines providing support for technical enrollment, benefit solutions and reporting to ensure efficient benefit administration and client satisfaction. Xenium benefit programs include S125, 401(k) multiple employer plans, group health, life, disability, voluntary benefits, COBRA and ACA. Acts as project manager on open enrollment projects for individual clients. The Benefit Administrator is responsible for benefit product life cycles including implementation and benefit system improvements within the Xenium organization and works collaboratively with all service teams to ensure a high level of expertise and knowledge essential to Xenium clients. The Benefits Administrator assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of benefit system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities in our Benefits business unit. This role is expected to support innovations that enhance current benefit functionality and support process improvements.
Provides independent and proactive direct consultation with client employees and management, and advises on eligibility, benefits provisions, and other matters related to benefits programs
Project manage annual open enrollment for multiple clients, including preparation and communication to clients
Partner with HRIS to develop carrier connections to facilitate timely and accurate enrollment for Xenium benefit clients
Manage enrollments and changes into Prism and with applicable carriers; beneficiaries, death claims, rollovers, QDROs, distributions, loans, hardships and compliance testing. Ensure Xenium Payroll receives accurate and timely information for benefit deduction administration
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using Prism or other third-party reporting tools supporting benefits
Manage client COBRA notifications and administration following COBRA guidelines
Manage ACA reporting for clients including 1095C reporting and communication
Independently performs other assignments such as conducting client New Employee Benefits Orientations, reviewing and updating on-line life insurance records and auditing vendor invoices
Train benefits, HR or clients on new processes and functionality
Keep abreast of changing regulations and current trends in benefits, with a focus on product development, delivery and support and utilizing key technologies
Any other benefits related duties, as directed or needed
Associates degree with at least three years of benefit experience. Benefit system experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working towards Project Management Certification, preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Must demonstrate trustworthiness, confidentiality, initiative and flexibility.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills required.
